Is your I-9 up to date?

The United States Citizens and Immigration Services (USCIS) recently issued a new Form I-9 that all employers are required to complete for new hires and reverifications of employment documents.  Please note that completion is not required for existing employees who do not need to be re-verified. Employees requiring reverification are those that have an expiring document for work authorization or in some cases, employees being rehired.

The updated version of the I-9 is downloadable here in a PDF version and has ‘smart’ features to help minimize mistakes when it is completed.
