The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has made two key changes to its recordkeeping rule starting in 2015. First, it expanded the list of severe injuries that all employers must report and second, it updated the list of industries that are exempt from the requirement to routinely keep OSHA injury and illness records using the OSHA 300 Log.

For those employers required to keep injury and illness records, the OSHA 300 Log must be posted by 1/31/15 and remain posted through 4/30/15.
